PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION STARTEGIES
ESTABLISHMENT OF GREEN ENTERPRISE TRAINING CENTERS IN EACH GEOPOLITICAL ZONE IN NIGERIA
Solar energy has an important role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating climate change, which is critical to protecting humans, wildlife, and ecosystems.
The overall purpose of this programme is to strengthen the conditions for investments in solar energy in Nigeria. In turn, this is expected to lead to poverty reduction through increased access to affordable, reliable renewable energy and access to electricity for women and youths especially those living in under developed communities.
BIOGAS PRODUCTION
The increasing use of fossil fuels and environmental concerns over greenhouse gas emissions and climate change has generated interest in biogas as an alternative renewable energy resource.
We provide a comprehensive package for biogas plants consultation: from the evaluation of different biogas processes and assessment
HYDROPONICS
We’ll train and consult in designing, building, and operating larger-scale, custom hydroponic farms.
Hydroponics is the technique of growing plants using a water-based nutrient solution rather than soil, and can include an aggregate substrate, or growing media, such as vermiculite, coconut coir, or perlite.
GREENHOUSE FARMING
Greenhouse Farming is the process of cultivating crops and vegetable in a greenhouse ecosystems environment.
We’ll work with growers, owners, and operators at all stages in the process of planning and building an energy-efficient Greenhouse as well as training.
HONEYBEE PRODUCTION
We’ll train women and youths in the production of high-quality natural honey and other beehive products
Honey starts as flower nectar collected by bees, which gets broken down into simple sugars stored inside the honeycomb. The design of the honeycomb and constant fanning of the bees' wings causes evaporation, creating sweet liquid honey.
VERTICAL AGRICULTURE
We’ll offer training, guidance and support on all aspects concerning vertical farming, from facility automation to crop cultivation.
Vertical farming is a growing trend in the horticultural world. Vertical agriculture could help increase food production and expand agricultural operations across the Nigeria
CLIMATE SMART AGRICULTURE
We’ll provide expertise in forestry, agriculture, land use, climate protection, and organizational development.
Climate-Smart Agriculture is an integrated approach to managing landscapes—cropland, livestock, forests and fisheries--that address the interlinked challenges of food security and climate change
PLASTIC RECYCLING
We’ll offer capacity building programs and consultation on recycling processes of plastic items.
Plastic recycling is the method of gathering waste plastic and reconverting them to new and useful products. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, less than 10% of plastic waste generated in Nigeria is recycled, with the majority of the waste ending up in landfills or water bodies.
